GUTLESS 'STALINIST' TORONTO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, UNDER ORDERS FROM THE HARPO CONSERVATIVES, FIRE VIRTUOSO PIANIST VALENTINA LISITSA FOR ENGAGING IN FREE SPEECH

In an ironically twisted version of cold war history, virtuoso pianist Valentina Lisitsa has been replaced by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and accused of engaging in public incitement of hatred after she posted political opinions critical of the Ukrainian government’s conduct in the country’s civil war.

Lisitsa, who was born in Kiev, is a world renowned pianist, with some of her performances garnering millions of views on YouTube. Her family grew up in a Communist bloc world where free speech was not allowed and performing in state-run symphonies was reliant upon obedience to the State. Now here in the so-called 'land of the free' Stalinist methods here in Canada are used against her.

The Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s aggressive attempt to censor her is a chilling insight into how perfectly legitimate political views that challenge the Canadian government sanctioned position on political beliefs within the mainstream newsmedia can be treated as “offensive” or “hate speech” and used to cripple someone’s career.

The TSO canceled Lisitsa’s concerts after the pianist drew attention to the plight of citizens in eastern Ukraine, who have been the victims of bombing raids carried out by the Ukrainian military.

Lisitsa originally supported the Maidan uprising but later realized that it had been hijacked by corrupt interests.

“I took to Twitter in order to get the other side of the story heard, the one you never see in the mainstream media—the plight of my people, the good and bad things that were happening in Ukraine,” she writes. “I translated news stories from Ukrainian language websites, I translated eyewitness accounts of atrocities…. I became really good in unmasking fakes published by Western media in order to make one side of the civil war look whiter and softer than the Easter bunny, and the other—like sub-humans, not worthy of mercy, the “collateral damage”.

Lisitsa was also instrumental in challenging western media pieces which glorified neo-nazi militants, brigades of which have been absorbed into the Ukrainian Army since the civil war began.

After receiving an unspecified number of complaints about Lisitsa’s “political statements” from members of the public, the TSO canceled her appearances at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto and attempted to dissolve its contract with the pianist.

So to remind the Stalinist government of Canada and the TSO of what our nation actually stands for, not the twisted evil that they promote, we include the following lyrics of OUR national anthem:

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land, glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee;
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Those who made this decision to fire this brilliant pianist should be considered traitors, terrorists and enemies o Canada! Jail them now for the safety and security of our nation!
